NCHM JEE 2015 exam begins on April 25
The NCHM JEE 2015 begins on April 25, conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) at 49 exam centres in 33 cities of India. The entry for the exam across its centers started at 9 am and the exam starts at 10 am. A total of 7311 candidates are appearing for this national level exam from Delhi for admissions to Hotel Management programme. Around 7400 seats are distributed among 51 institutes for admissions to this undergraduate programme.

The NCHM JEE 2015 exam is conducted in an offline mode in a paper- pencil based pattern, with a total duration of three hours, starting from 10 am to 1pm. The question paper is set bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi, except for the questions of English Language Section. The students have to answer a total of 200 questions with each question carrying 1 mark.
The exam has 4 sections namely, Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language, and Aptitude for Service Sector.
As per the marking scheme of NCHM JEE 2015, each correct answer will fetch a candidate 1 mark and every incorrect response will have a deduction of 0.25 marks.
The questions in Aptitude for Service Sector section will be awarded graded marks system. As per the system, the most appropriate answer will be awarded 1 mark, followed by 0.75 marks for the next appropriate answer, and 0.50 marks for the next correct answer. Whereas the least appropriate answer will be regarded as inappropriate and will carry a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
As per the students reaction on various sectors, an aspirant Aditi says, “I am confident about aptitude and English section, but a bit worried about reasoning as well as service sector”.
On her preparation strategy for the exam, Shelija says, “I have prepared for the exam through previous years question papers and am very much confident as I know the exam pattern and types of questions which will be covered. I am aiming for IHM Pusa”.
