Academic Qualification –
Candidates need to be passed in Senior Secondary Examination under 10+2 education pattern from any state recognised/central board of education
Candidates must have passed English as core subject in the qualifying examination
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply (provided they submit the proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission or latest by September 30, 2017 )
Age Criteria –
General and OBC category candidates must not be more than 22 years of age as on July 1, 2017. Candidates born on or after July 1, 1995 are eligible to apply.
Candidates belonging to reserved category including SC/ ST must not be more than 25 years of age as on July 1, 2017. Candidates born on or after July 1, 1992 are eligible to apply
- Physically Challenged candidates will be offered age relaxation (if applicable) as per their category i.e. GEN/OBC/SC/ST
Other equivalent qualification for NCHM JEE 2017 eligibility -
Candidates passed from Intermediate or two year pre-university examination from recognised Board or University
Candidates passed in General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Srilanka/ Cambridge) at Advanced (A) level
Candidates holding High School Certificate from Cambridge University
Candidates holding High School Certificate of Vocational Examination from National or State Council of Vocational Training
Candidates passed from any public school/ Board/ University examination under 10+2 education pattern or equivalent in India or Foreign country as recognised by Association of Indian Universities
Candidates passing 10+2 qualifying examination from National Open School must have studied a minimum of five subjects with English as a main subject
