NCHMCT has declared the result of Joint Entrance Exam 2017 on May 23. The candidates are shortlisted as per the minimum qualifying marks criteria of NCHM JEE 2017. The result of NCHM JEE 2017 is declared in online mode only and mentions marks obtained by the qualified candidates. The seat allotment of NCHM JEE 2017 will be done on basis of merit list prepared after the announcement of results.
NHCMCT, the exam conducting body, will determine the NCHM JEE 2017 Cutoff in the month of May. Cutoff of NCHM JEE 2017 will be determined on the basis of minimum qualifying marks criteria and rank obtained by test takers. They can check the previous year’s cutoff and expected Cutoff of NCHM JEE 2017.
National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has made available details of NCHM JEE 2017 Counselling Procedure on April 19. There will be three rounds of NCHM JEE 2017 counselling on merit basis. The counselling procedure will comprise checking of eligibility of candidates, document verification, depositing counselling & first semester fee, along with opportunity for choosing institutes as available at the time of counselling based on their AIRs.

Candidates will be allotted seats as per the reservation criteria of NCHM JEE 2017. The reservation criteria is followed by all participating institutes for admissions to 7767 seats. The reservation criteria of NCHM JEE 2017 is as mentioned below–

NCHM JEE 2017 Admission Process
The exam conducting authority will be shortlisting candidates on basis of marks and ranks obtained in NCHM JEE 2017. A merit list will be prepared on basis of results of NCHM JEE 2017 and candidates securing higher marks will be ranked higher in the merit list. In case candidates obtain same marks in NCHM JEE, then following methods will be applied to resolve ties -
Candidates obtaining higher marks in Service Aptitude Component will be ranked higher in case, more than one candidate obtain same marks in Joint Entrance Exam as well as English Comprehension component
Furthermore, candidates older in age will be given preference

Candidates should have passed 10+2 qualifying examination from any state or national board of education
Candidates must have passed English as a core subject under 10+2 education pattern in the qualifying examination
General and OBC category candidates must not be more than 22 years of age as on July 1 of year of admission
Reserved category candidates are provided age relaxation of up to three years i.e. they should not be more than 25 years of age
Candidates qualified General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination at Advanced (A) level (London/ Cambridge/ Srilanka) are also eligible
Candidates need to have passed Senior Secondary Examination from National Open School with minimum five subjects with English as a core subject can also apply for NCHM JEE 2017

The exam conducting authority issued admit card of NCHM JEE 2017 in online mode only on April 19. The admit card of NCHM joint entrance exam 2017 mentioned candidate details, exam date and timing, as well as test centre details. Candidates were advised to read instructions mentioned on the admit card of NCHM JEE 2017. Those without a valid admit card of NCHM JEE 2017 were not permitted to appear for the national level entrance exam.
